Weekend Update

This weekend started early saturday morning, me hitting a few garage sales before heading to Nebraska to see Kendall. We met halfway which is where his mom lives luckily and only 3 hours for each of us. It was nice being able to see him, even if it wasn't for a full 24 hours, i hadn't seen him for 2 weeks, and now it will be 2-3 more weeks pretty hard for me since im pregnant and hard for him since he feels he is missing out on things. On the way home i decided to vere off and head home to see mom and dad. It was good, mama's birthday so im glad i got to see her and dad, i will be going back on Friday and staying till Thursday so i am excited about that, hopefully mama and i can get to some small town garage sales :). Well thats the update.

25 Weeks

Well, turns out i thought i was 26 weeks along, but somehow got too antsy but im 25 in a half about. Anyway, I went to the doctors today for a checkup since i am going every 2 weeks now, and after 30 weeks it will be once a week. My normal doctor wasnt there today, so i had the other OB doctor, and i really liked him, he was very thorough and to check the heart beats he took a quick ultra sound to make sure he wasnt picking up the same baby. Good news, still a boy and a girl(i made him check real quick). He anwswered the questions i had, and continued on to reassure me that despite the horror stories you hear about twin pregnancies, they don't always happen and to not let it get into my head. I am glad i got to meet him, he said he could be the one deliverying the babies, it just depends which doctor is on call, (they work side by side). Right now the babies are positioned well for natural birth now if they stay that way...it all depends on baby A-Layla(the one on the bottom), because the second baby usually falls into place. Releiving to know, so as long as Layla behaves and stays where she is at...hehe. One last thing about the delevery room, well i wont be in one, since it is a twin birth he said i will be having them in the operating room. Well thats what i know right now! June 15th i will be getting another ultra sound to asses the weight, and length, also get tested for G.diabetes, go over epidurals maybe, and get my RH- shot.

Garage Sale Savings!

Well, yesterday, Gina, Katie, Emily, and I all went garage sale shopping, we started right at 8 and went to quite a few garage sales. With a full morning of garage sales, i am pretty proud of what we got for great prices! Here are the pictures of what i got!!

<---Here are 5 sleepers, a sleep sack, 2 overall outfits, and one additional onsie outfit with pants and a head band that match. We got it all for 5$ total. I also found Blue pup and Magenta pup(from blues clues) never opened in their boxes for 1$ each. In total, everything in this picture =7$

--->
This is a UW cheerleader outfit with pompom that i just had to get, although it is a toddler size outfit, i figured since these logo'd items can cost up to 50$ new i would take it for the price of 2$ now!! Total spent so far: 9$

<---Here is a Cabbage patch kids play kitchen, yes its a little too early, but Emily insisted that for 5$, it being cabbage patch and coming with dishes she had to get it for the babies(think Layla will enjoy it more than Aidan). Since a gift, total price spent so far, still = $9

Best for Last!!! We actually found a twin stroller, in very good condition, not faded at all, 2 step fold up process ( i can do it so easily myself!!!) for the lovely price of....$25!!!!!! I think this was the best buy of the day, and it is a Graco stroller and well i seem to find Graco being a good brand!

Overall i think i did great on my first garage sale hunting, i may not have found a crib or other baby furniture but i have until Mid. July to worry about that! So the Total Price Spent $34! Sucessful Day! :D

Still Around

Well, school is over and i have just been working and being lazy, its all great. Tomorrow i am going garage/yard sale shopping, one advertisement was for a dresser, changing table, and crib so if they match and are less than the set we wanted new and are in good condition kendall says GO FOR IT, so hopefully we can find some good second hand stuff! I wrote down 7 different garage sales to visit, and for sure it will be gina and i and maybe katie and emily if they decide to be awake at 730 to begin our hunt for good stuff. :D oh and the rain here smells so good!!! :D

Grade Change Request

Well, i went and checked my final grades for the semester, and for my Stats class it had a nice bold F next to it. WHAT?! i had talked to my TA even before finals and i had a B, so i would not have to take the final, and somehow an F got entered into the final grades. Great, i emailed my teacher who confirmed this is wrong and all i needed to do was get a "grade request" form and he would change it. easy enough... or not-oh if i only knew what is ahead of me now. I go and get the form on campus, to find out i need to run around and see 4 different people including my professor, two different deans, and the office of registrar, and tell why its a mistake and why i need a grade change, only problem is half these people are not HERE in the summer!! The thing that annoys me most is it isn't even my fault that the grade was entered wrong, but i still have to go all out of my way to change it, because i dont want to fail a class because of a wrong letter entered. RRRRRR.

24 Weeks

Well, today i had my 24 week checkup, after going over how i feel and different symptoms i have been having, my doctor decided we should start the 2 week checkups, and that i should get a blood test to check my thyroid. So i will be a regular now at the doctors office!! Im excited for june 15 is the appt. that i get another ultra sound, but other than that its a long appt. to go over epiderals, get a shot since i am RH- or somethen like that and everything else they do at 28 weeks.
On a different note, Kendall got me a mothers day gift! Since i dont have much to do in my free time, i have been working on puzzles, well he went and got me an 11 puzzle set all in one, so there is 6 500 piece puzzles, 3 750 piece puzzles, and 2 1000 piece. i am pretty excited but i have to wait till sunday to start any, which right now im working on a puzzle that the majority of it is water so it will take me a LONG time! :D
