Sleeping Silly

Layla fell asleep in her swing this way, when Kendall tried to lean her back she woke up, glared, and plopped back forward asleep. Silly girl!

WNIT sold out!

Yep, less than 24 hours of making the championships and the game is sold out. SO glad we got tickets last night!!!

WNIT Championship

Well, our Cowgirls made it to the finals last night in triple overtime!!! It was an awesome game and in the end we FINALLY won by 10!!! First time our girls have been to the final championship game. Pretty exciting, Haley, Nikki, and I went together. We all already bought tickets last night for Saturdays championship game against the Wisconsin badgers. I imagine there is going to be a sellout so i am happy we waited in line to get tickets last night, a real nice guy ahead of us ended up buying ouu tickets, he somehow got us the free ones, and wasn't going to let us pay even if they weren't free, way nice!! i think it will be WAY to loud there to bring the little ones this time, last night had 12,225 in attendance, that is almost 4x the population of my hometown...hahaha sad. I have my parents willing to watch them weather permitting(it is snowing 2+ inches an hour right now), and a backup friend, i think im going to find a backup for my backup just in case!! Haley and I are going to put together crazy outfits, and we are aiming to get there at 10ish even though the game starts at 1, soon as the doors open we are there, to find a seat because even an hour early last night we struggled to find good seats!!!!

Cowgirls WNIT Game

It was packed full, I could only see a few small sections that weren't full. Layla cried at first because it was SOOO loud, but then she enjoyed it and looked around, sitting on Jeannie's lap.
Kendall and I striking a pose!!!!! :)
Aidan did not like the loud atmosphere and all of the people cheering(the anouncer was LOUD) so he cried, and fell asleep in the hallway with Aunt Nikki where there was less noise. We saw 3 sets of twins!
After the game, posing to show the AA, we walked over from home with the babies in these little things. You can see Aidan and Layla dressed for the Cowboy game, they had on matching pants too, very cute!!

Snow Again...

After 2 weeks of 50 degrees weather, the snow came back, briefly. The weather only mentioned maybe a 1/2 of an inch, we got about 4 inches, haha. There was flakes quarter size and bigger, very pretty!! Here is a picture from yesterday morning. Oh yes, and today it is supposed to be right back up near 60, and its well on its way at 45 and sunny...Crazy weather!

Layla preparing to go outside and look at the snow...she isn't as enthused with the outdoor world as Aidan, he absolutely loves it!! Today both the kids and us are going to the Cowgirls WNIT 4th round game, then having a BBQ afterwards with some friends. Im debating getting the kids some cowboy gear....hmmm.

First Signs of Teething

Well, Aidan has been acting like he may begin to cut teeth soon, he hasn't been all that fussy, however, he has been chomping his mouth open and shut a lot, will not let you reach by him without grabbing your hand and knawing on it, and he had a slight fever last night. I hope that he is because that means there is a chance Layla will start too, avoiding the whole teething thing during finals the beginning of May, haha. I can't feel anything yet with my fingers, but we have teethers chilled, and the baby oralgel is waiting. This picture is of Aidan wearing the hat Nikki and Gary bought him in florida(Layla got a bikini, SO CUTE!) and he also is wearing an outfit my brother wore at his age, real cute.
Here is Laylabear posing on Nikki's lap with her new friend Poohbear, this was my Winnie the Pooh from when i was little. Layla and Aidan enjoy hugging him and sucking on his nose. hehe. Layla is wearing a dress that i got from when Karen, Amber, and I were babies, i am not quite sure whos it was originally but it is cute, i also got a dress that i wore when i was a baby, and later would dress up our dog Shirley in it when i was older hehe.

St. Patty's Weekend

We headed to my parents house this weekend, almost everybody could make it but Brian, Ebony and Nga, we walked to Ebony's house but she wasnt home. Here is Kendall and Layla enjoying some time together after church, both babes were good, Aidan stayed for the whole service, Layla was fussy so i brought her to the nursery so she could get some sleep without distractions, her cousin Adrianna was down there too.
Layla enjoying Grandpa's lap. :)
Aidan, Nana, Karen, Layla and I all posing for a picture, notice Aidan's using a sippy cup? Oh man they are growing so fast!!
Trampoline fun, Dad and Greg looking at the stars, Amber, Karen, and I being silly and jumping on the trampoline. Our last mat tore finally after a decade of use, so this fall my dad bought a new one for us to play on! Of course i look like i am doing some Kung-Fu move.
Nana walking with granddaughter Adrianna and chi-dog Abby, we all enjoyed the 80 degree weather, even went for a walk around the neighborhood!

This angle we see Mr Aidan looking up out of the playpen, he sure looks excited!
Lastly we have Mr. Aidan showing how well the changing table holds him. He is kicking for joy!

To Grandmothers House We Go!

We all packed up and headed to Grandma Gail's house this weekend, it was beautiful there, so we all enjoyed strolling, and Aidan got some new shades and shoes!(Layla wasn't as impressed with her shades, and her shoes she can take off record fast!)
Aidan and Layla also got to enjoy the green grass for the first time since everything in Nebraska is thawed already! Here they are sitting ON THERE OWN!!! You can see Aidan again is enjoying his sunglasses!
Here is Ms. Laylabear showing off her sitting skills, she is getting really good, i guess it was a good birthday present for Kendall since this picture is taken on his birthday (13th) She sat alone for about 10 minutes before we picked her up to go inside, avoiding a sunburn! I am really proud of how great they are developing, the Dr. says they are right on the average curve now for weight, and usually it can take twins up to a year! So at 7 months they are very healthy!!

Spring Break Babies!

Aidan going crazy on spring break! hehe.
Layla "feeding" herself, so independent!

Spring break officially starts on monday, i worked my bum off during the week to get all quizes, exams, and homework done for my online classes and campus classes and whooo i am done for a good week! Kendall finishes his online work today since we are headed to Nebraska this weekend to visit Grandma Gail!!! We are bringing the stroller since the weather is predictiong 70s there, 15 degrees warmer then here! The kids are getting so big, and they think they can do more than they can, hehe. It seems that by moving bath time up 10 minutes this past week and a half that the kids somehow wake up 2 hours earlier, i don't understand that, anyway we still make them wait till 9 unless they are screaming at us, talking is fine they can entertain each other! I think springbreak for us is just taking a few short visits to see family, and then just catching up on things, i picked up some work time at the foundation house here since calling is on a hold, so i still will be making some money throughout the week, that will make my next paycheck a little bigger.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

I could not be any prouder for dear Layla watching American Idol with me today, she is glued to it!!! (i moved her closer for the picture) Anyway, i have only missed 3 episodes of American Idol in the 6 years it has been on, the reason? #$%^ Tivo from bresnon....rrrrrrr....

Walks and Toes

This weeks weather has been beautiful, reaching near 50 on some days. Yesterday we all had shorts on, and again Kendall and I took Layla and Aidan for a walk. We walked over to a friends house about 15 blocks from here. It was nice to hang out, and both babes were very good. When we were headed back we noticed Aidan had no pacifier, so we searched around and figured he had tossed it out along the way(i told kendall we should buy those things that attatch them to their shirt, he said later...yea now he believes me!) Anyway, we got home and still no pacifier, luckily we had a spare, however he seems to have found another "object" to suck on, oh yes his toes!! It is adorable haha! Oh and this morning i found his pacifier in our yard, so apparantly he threw it out as soon as we started rolling. Silly boy! I am going to get them much needed sunglasses, their eyes don't adjust well to the sunlight and they squint a lot, i imagine they are very sensitive since they havn't seen so much light before, and plus we need to protect that precious eye sight!

Personal Ice Glacier

This is the remains of the winter cold, we informed our landlord back when we first noticed a small little icicles hanging down, he did not seem too worried. Well, a month later we again mentioned that after the ice had continued to grow because the faucet was still dripping, and now was cracking the side of the house foundation...still not worried, so it's on him, this was the last week at our glacier, it is kinda neat looking, we have tried breaking it away and icesalt, but nope it still keeps growing! (oh and yes our landlord supposedly shut this faucet off from an inside pipe.)

Early Surprise Party

Aidan practicing a silly face for Kendall's week early surprise party(Nikki and Gary are leaving Thursday, so we had it a week early since they will be gone...) I am sure i will do something with the people here over spring break for kendall also.
Layla enjoying the ballooons from the party, we could not get her to put it down!
Nikki, Gary, Aidan, Layla, and John all there to surprise Kendall,we had some awesome brownie cake! yummmm.
Kendall with his new golf clubs, Nikki, Gary, and I all pitched in for them. We were going to do it at Christmas but didnt work out, and it worked even better this time because it is a gorgeous day, and yup already Kendall and Gary are off at the driving range. :)

Highchair Fun!

I find that putting the kids in their highchair they hold themselves upright sitting better without leaning against something, plus they like looking around at everything from a different view! Here is Aidan just chill'n and of course showing off his cute smile!
Layla as I mentioned before loves her carrots, we havn't tried too many other kinds of veggies yet since introducing them one at a time helps incase they have a reaction we know exacily which one it is. Aidan enjoys mixed veggies now, so that is good, it has carrots in it, better not tell him that! Oh and notice whats on Layla's forehead?

2 Year Weekend

No we did not die, but the only picture i really took this weekend turned out ghostly white! Anyway, this weekend Kendall planned a whole secret get away, just the 2 of us(Gary and Nikki offered to watch the little ones!). He had everything planned from dinner friday night at Texas Road House to where we stayed. Of course we didn't go far from home, but a little Inn in Ft. Collins, the Mulberry Inn, which was very nice and even had a personal hot tub in our room. We drove up to Loveland to walk around the promenad shops, and of course bought Layla and Aidan some clothes, we couldn't resist! We wined and dined from Cheyenne to Loveland and Ft.Collins in between, I had a great time, but we both were anxious to come home to Layla and Aidan. We were home for maybe 3o minutes before we put them in their stoller and strolled to a nearby park about 7 blocks from here. It was 47degrees, calm, and sunny, BEAUTIFUL(for us, in this higher colder elevation, haha).
