Sister Be Good!

Funny story: Last night apparently Ms. Layla was lifting up her little dress(she tends to do that with dresses, or shirts) Anyway, baby brother Aidan decided to reach over and keep trying to pull her dress back down. Already being a protector at 4 1/2 months! haha!

Guess Who is Who!

Ok, here is to test your twin baby skills on who is who! I left the two in just their diapers so you couldn't tell by what they are wearing....Well, who is who?

Pass the Paddle

Here are Layla and Aidan in some outfits they finally grew into, i am pretty excited! Aidan is wearing overall pants, and Layla is wearing a little dress, mom notice the long sleeve onesies underneath? Thankyou!! :D
I remember when we were younger, playing Mario 2 with dad on nintendo, and we would all have to play "pass the paddle" after each level or when we died. Layla wanted to help me play Madden 2007 with Kendall the other day, i think she was just about as good as i am, pushing random buttons and hoping!

Merry Christmas!

Here is Kendall, Layla, Aidan, and Me before we went over for dinner at Gary's families, it was really nice of them to invite us since our Christmas is postponed!
Here is Layla on the beautiful blanket that Nikki crochet'd for her, i love it! She started in May and finished today on Aidan's.
Here is Aidan's blanket, i folded the corner so you could see his name that is printed on it also, i love these blankets, very nice!

Meeting Family!

Kendall, Layla, Aidan, and I took the trip to Nebraska to see Kendall's brother Kelvin, and his girlfriend Amy, and Grandma Gail. The kids have never met Kelvin or Amy so that was a good deal for them, and they also were able to spend more time with Grandma Gail! Kelvin and Amy brought their new pup Suka, an 11 week old siberian husky. We only could stay a short time, since we had borrowed a minivan to haul down the 32inch tv all the kids had bought for Gail, it didn't fit in any of our cars. The roads back were horrible, with blowing snow, ice, and just fresh snow falling, im glad Kendall drove, i get to nervous when i drive! I ended up calling in one car which had slid off the road, the people were still inside and the car was on. Here are a few pictures from our one night stay.

Daddy's Girl!

Morning Snow Fun!

This morning was a good one, Layla and Aidan slept from 11pm-10 am this morning with only a few interuptions at night from Aidan wanting his pacifier, he was eventually moved to the swing, and Layla lately is a little more fussy at bedtime, so minus THAT it was nice to sleep in! Here are some pictures of me having fun in the snow, with some friends. hehe, in a nerd, anyway hopefully later i can play more in the snow, its gorgeous outside! Oh and my car? i dont think ill be going anywhere soon, there is snow buried all around it from people shoveling and the road...

Snow Day!!!!!!!!!!!

Today at work i was sent home early because of all the snow and it is still coming down HURRAY i love it!! Actually everybody who works at the University was sent home because of the snow, so we all got a treat! Here are a few pictures i took a little bit ago, my beautiful snow angel!(its hard to see i know but its gorgeous!) i cant wait till Layla and Aidan can make snow angels with me! there is also another picture of one of our blow up decorations, it is a snowman family, notice they have a little girl and a boy, just like my family :D Then there is Kendall shovelling the sidewalks around our house for the 2nd time today! OHMAN i had to trudge through about 8 inches of snow all 7 blocks home from work, but i loved it the snow is so beautiful, so peaceful!!! :D

here is a picture of aidan looking a little more happy hehe.

What is in MY MOUTH!?

Here are a couple of pictures of Layla and Aidan "enjoying" there new experience of cereal. Ok maybe not, after a few spoon fulls Aidan screamed for about 15 minutes to let it known he did not like this new substance! Tonight he ate a little more and seemed to enjoy it for a wile there, then he had enough. Layla wasnt too pleased, both times, the second time she cried a lot more, but a few bites here in their and they will come to realize, aww, we are supposed to eat this stuff! Notice their new highchair? they are sooo little in it! Also take note of their bibs, they say "If you can read this you're in spit-up range" then on the bottom it says HOOTERS really big, hehe. Oh the picture of Layla smiling? that was BEFORE she was introduced to the cereal!!

Christmas Cheer!

Saucer Fun!

On friday the Doctor said that getting saucers would be a good idea for the babes and alot of fun at that. It will help to get that flatness on their heads to grow away and also give them one more thing to play! we already had 2, one that Amber let us borrow and also one from the twin sale we went to back in March. BTW everything at the doctors went fine, they got their 4 month shots and tonight we are going to start rice cereal(i made them wait for that and the saucers since iwasnt going to be home for good till tonight!). Anyway here are the babies having some saucer fun this morning!! :D

The Grinch and Max

Here is Aidan and Layla, they both don't look too happy, even with their Grinch and his dog Max stuffed animals. The reason for the sad faces? I am gone! Im still back in my hometown working i am unable to go home now that im done making money, considering it has snowed over 9 inches here, and Laramie has gotten some snow too, so the canyon wont be too fun to drive, ive done it in the past in harsh conditions but not a fond memory! Its ok though, i will get one extra night to relax and hang out with my parents, since i don't see them as often as i used to! Hopefully tomorrow morning i can head back and go see my babes and kendall, for a short time anyway before i have to go to work there at the foundation house for the afternoon. AWW! Chrsitmas break? not yet for me!

Fun With Daddy!

Finals are over for me and Kendall, and it is nice to just enjoy not having a book opened and to have more time for the kids. Although it wont last long, i am leaving to go back home and work for the weekend to try and get more money for us, nice that i can still go back and work, the guy i work for understands my situation and needs my help. He always tells me i am good help and that is flattering, i enjoy working with the wood, and seeing the finished products knowing i helped build them!(mostly cabinets). Since i have been working for him for 3 years now, I went from starting out at 7$ to now 10$, i would say a dollar raise a year is pretty dang good! Also since calling is over until next semester, i have been picking up hours at the actual foundation house researching wrong numbers like i did all summer, this way my January check will be a little bigger and can handle all the bills with that! Things are going pretty well for us, i was able to get out last night for a fun girls night with Emily and Nikki, it was alot of fun! Kendall and Gary are taking their night out tonight, Nikki has a test tomorrow so it will be mainly just Layla, Aidan and I hanging out tonight until bedtime. I will update more tomorrow hopefully if i have time between the kids DR.'s appointment and work, let everybody know how they are doing, and hopefully when i get back, monday we can start them on rice cereal, pretty exciting!

Binky Diving

Last night while studying, Kendall was trying to calm Aidan down for bed. Aidan does this screaming fit some nights because he is so hungry and tired he just doesn't know how to react but by screaming. Kendall being the nice guy he is tried to avoid where i was in the bedroom, Layla's room, and the living room where Nikki was, so where else to go? The bathroom, it muffled the screams, dark, and a good place to calm Aidan. Well, Aidan being the little stinker he is, as soon as Kendall turned in the bathroom Aidan spit out his Pacifier....*SPLASH*! Yes you guessed it, Aidan dropped his pacifier in the toilet....GROSS!!! To top things off, this kid is pretty picky, he has to have a certain type of pacifier, yes we have plenty, but if it isnt this special kind he refuses (to me they all look pretty similar!). Anyway, we had to find his big green soothie one, since he refused the others, actually in desperate times, last night we even took Layla's pink one for him since she wasn't using it and it was the right kind. Silly boy, i know, well today i went and bought 2 more of his favorites so we are prepared for future accidents!

Not-Yo Cheese!!!

First Stroll With Santa

Today Layla and Aidan took their first stroll in their twin stroller to see Santa (a friend of ours, the whole thing was put on by SAE). Aidan was fussy until we started rolling then he was pretty good, Layla looked petrified but looked around. This is the stroller i got this summer for a good deal, and it works very well, i was pretty excited! Kendall pushed them the whole time, pretty neat! Both Layla and Aidan were little angels, and not one peep the rest of the trip, by the time we strolled back home they both were tucker'd out and fast sleep. It was neat that a lot of people that hadn't seen the babies were able to. The babies didn't even cry on Santas lap(real beard may i add!) although they didn't looked too enthused either!!

Me Too!

Layla just wanted everybody to know that she is excited for Christmas too, here is a picture of her drooling over the presents too!

I also finally got a Yellow Star On Ebay for me getting enough postive feedback, It's probably a good thing, because then people who sell or buy from me wont question me as much as a good ebayer since i have that many feedbacks, im pretty excited anyway, im probably just a nerd.

Can We Open One Early?

Can We Open One Early? That is a question i remember begging my parents from the moment the first Christmas present was laid under the tree. Each year the same routine of asking, and the same answer NO! Some years maybe on Christmas Eve, maybe. Hehe, Christmas is one of my favorite seasons of the year, besides all of the stress of gift buying, i enjoy the giving, and the Christmas spirit everybody seems to have. Always keeps a smile on my face!
Here is a picture of Aidan admiring the tree and the presents underneath the tree, he loves to just look at all the colors, they are growing so fast, i cannot believe it! Out of all the presents under the tree, i think they will be receiving half of them, spoiled little babies, and they can't even realize that yet!! They are pretty lucky to have such a good support group around them here, that care about them, yes, pretty good situation for them!

Oh Husker Fans

It seems that Kendall and our husker fan friends are converting poor Layla and Aidan into fans also...haha, but oh man how can i not fall in love with those cute little outfits!! Notice i am standing strong with my Irish Spirit despite all the husker fans surrounding me? :) Layla and Aidan got these outfits from John and Katie, which Katie is really an Irish fan too, so i am not alone! :D

Nutcracker

Last night Nikki and I went to see the ballet The Nutcracker. Never being to a ballet before it wasa new experience, but being in dance in the past, and i like theatre alot, and i enjoyed it. Since UW put it on they had a little of a western twist to the outfits and such, i liked it and it wasn't overdone at all. I commented about one of the stick thin ballerina's, her legs were literally as tall as my whole body, haha. It was a good performance, and the little girls and boys in it were just darling! We also had a friend in it, who is an SAE brother of Kendall.

And just a side note, why is it that girls insist on wearing t-shirts, and skimpy clothing when going out to the bars in 0 degree weather? When they have to wait out in the weather till capacity will let them in, Is being "cute" REALLY worth getting sick over, let alone bringing back the sick to school and getting us who do wear coats sick!! STUPID!
