6 1/2 Weeks and still Cute as Ever!

Here are some recent pictures. This one is of Layla last night after her bath, she is just chillin in her towel waiting to be dressed, fed, and put to bed!!

Weekend update

Saturday Mom, Brian, Nga, Ebony, Karen and Zach all came over to watch Aidan and Layla (yes it takes a small army sometimes with these 2!) so Kendall and i could go to the UW vs Air Force game for the afternoon. It was so nice to be able to hang out with friends and cheer on the pokes (even though they lost#$$#%$$@). Here is a picture of Layla's cousin Ebony holding her. :D

Swaddling

We have been swaddling the babes in order to keep them "comfortable" while sleeping, since it is supposed to keep them feeling like they are in the womb. They always fight it of course, or atleast try and get their little hands free. I figured they liked it despite them fighting it, well, Kendall decided to "swaddle" me this morning, and oh man is it clastorphobic! i know i can get out pretty well mainly because i have more muscle then they do, but still, it is a tight squeeze for sure! Here is a picture of us being swaddled and sleeping.

Bounce, Bounce, Bounce!!!

Well, yesterday we broke out the bouncy chairs...mainly because Aidan has a 5minute attention span so we have entertain him with something different each time he gets bored because he lets us know (SCREAAAAAAM) hehe. Here are some pictures of Aidan and Layla in the bouncy chairs...Layla is mainly in the chair to stay upright since she has been spitting up almost everything we feed her and with her acid reflex it hurts her to spit up(we have med. for her). also explains why she doesnt have any clothes on, too much of a hassle to change her sometimes each time she spits up. That is why she is sleeping instead of enjoying the bounce bounce. The first picture is just both of them in the chairs. The next picture is of Aidan in the chair and i just thought its funny because he looks like he is scared to death of it(he really does like it...HONEST!). The last one is Layla just being pretty! :D

Still Here

Well, i am still here, so is Kendall, Layla and Aidan. Things just have picked up from simi-busy to busybusy, with being the 4th week of school, there are alot of exams this week and next, and since i started work last night, that too has put alot of busyness into my life(besides 2 babies begging for attention!) I will be working Tues. Wed. Thur. nights...only about 12 hours a week, but is a little extra money for food and utilities i guess! But since work, School fulltime, and mommy the rest of the time, getting on the internet for fun has lowered even farther down my priority list...RRR. But i will try my best to continue to update in the little freetime i do have! :D Also try and find more time to take and download more pictures!

Chill'n

Aidan being burped, well falling asleep in the attempt to burp...he is becoming quite the little chunk, seems he is ALWAYS eating!

Playtime and Travel

Here is a picture of Aidan and Layla hanging out on their playmat, they cant really play much but love staring, hitting eachother, kicking, and crying on it right now!! The other picture is Aidan hanging out in his carseat before a trip to the Doctors.

1 Month Old and Still Swinging

Well, today is the 11th of September, the babes are now 1 month old. They are growing so fast! When weighed last Friday the 8th (their original due date might i add!) Aidan weighed 7lbs 5.5oz, Layla weighed 6lbs 13oz, and they both were 20 inches long. Here are some pictures of Layla and Aidan enjoying their swings, if Aidan isn't in the blue swing he is upset, kinda silly. What you cant see in this picture is their is a tv in front of them with Baby Einstien playing, pretty much we just leave it on all day for the music for them to listen to, right now i think it is baby mozart.

How Big?

Here are a couple pictures taken last night, the one shows Layla and Aidan's size compared to Gary's feet. Oh man! Other than this, i am just trying to work in sleep with all of the babies demands, and all the other millions of things i have to do. AH!!

1...2...3...CHEESE!

Well, things here are still moving forward, the babes are growing so fast, Aidan is quite the chunker, i love it! Layla eats less them him, but she too is growing fast. The whole sleep thing, well im getting use to life without it thats for sure, although we do have a secret stash of Red Bull energy drinks for classes. It is hard to believe that Layla and Aidan's due date isn't until Friday the 8th!! Can you imagine how huge i would be if i would have gone full term?

Saved by the Swing

Well, as i have mentioned before Aidan has really taken to one of the swings(the other he doesn't care for, but Layla doesn't mind taken a swing in that one so it works out.) He can have his crying fits and most the time the swing will rock him asleep, although now he doesnt sleep in his crib very much unless completely tired, but either way we enjoy the quietness, minus the noise of the swing coming over the baby monitor that is! Hehe, here is a picture of Aidan asleep in his swing.
This other picture is just of Layla in the bassinet, content with just looking around before she takes a nap.
