1st Birthday Party!

Layla and Aidan turned ONE yesterday! Yay! Even though poor Laylabear has been sick with a high fever going on 5 days now, she still joined in the festivities. About 20 friends and family showed up for the birthday bash, to celebrate with the kids. It was a lot of fun, and Aidan was quite the little host crawling from person to person....oh wait not to greet them, to look for food! haha. The whole party went great, the people who came really care about the kids, and heck these kids were spoiled rotten by the end of the evening with such great gifts! They were on their best behavior, and really seemed to enjoy all of the attention! Here are a few pictures from the birthday party. Here is their Spongebob Cake, it was delicious and made by Emily, it was perfect!
Layla posing with Nikki, showing her birthday spirit by wearing the spongebob party hat.
Aidan showing that he is "One" years old, he was pretty proud of that trick!
Aidan enjoying his piece of cake, he ate his pretty fast, looked around...then reached over to grab Layla's plate and cake! What a stinker!
Here is Ms. Bear checking out the pile presents with her beloved Eeyore. They got such great stuff!

I am so glad I was able to come to the party! Those little babies really seemed to be dazzled by all the company, cake and presents! It was cute that after all the presents and new toys, Layla went back to her Eeyore :) I am glad that she was able to perk up again after being sick that morning.

Wish we coulda been there. Next year you will just have to plan on celebrating in Indiana - Adrianna had a lot of fun with all of her 2nd (and even some 3rd) cousins. I was just wishing that her 1st cousins were there.

I am sorry I couldn't be there. I am glad everything went well and Layla felt up to enjoying the party. I had fun time in Indiana. The reunion at the bunk house was fun and well planned with lots of good food. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I am glad Amber was there so I could cling to her :)
